Initiated through gaming portals, the metaverse has developed into much more than just virtual customer service, meeting and events. It starts to expand into retail offers to brand influential product launch and trading.

Going through the discussion board, the viewpoints vary from technology advanced thinking vs. harmful approach to customer service. Either way it will defiantly change the hospitality landscape, where we need to find individual application solutions.

Future application in hospitality?

Thinking about the wider application for hospitality, where could this take us? It would need to go further then just in-room tablets and BYOD.

Will it be a tool for guests to get a preview of a property and what it offers?
